I read somewhere that he played in about 40% of the defensive snaps.

OK I have gotten into the habit of looking at the box score. I just assumed if I didn't see his name it meant he didn't play. Apparently you only get your name in the box score is if you make a tackle or assist in one. Am I right in assuming since I haven't seen his name it means he hasn't made any tackles pst 2 weeks?

From my very untrained eye - his lack of speed is apparent when I've watched him the last couple of games, but I'm no expert and I don't really key in on him every play so maybe someone else can refute that claim. At the same time, the NYG defense is pretty atrocious (particularly at LB). I feel like I'm watching any of the ODU-GA Southern FCS playoff games sometimes.

Not your usual perspective

Ron Rivera, at today's press conference, said he wasn't sure what they will do with the 3rd QB position on the Panthers now that Cam Newton is on IR. He said they are trying to address moves for other injuries on the team.

Pretty gutsy for a team contending for the playoffs and having Will Grier as the backup. Gotta believe they will get another QB signed, but not sure it will be Heinicke. But not a lot of experience sitting at home at this point.

Another week, another workout for Taylor Heinicke. This time with the Colts.
