MyBB at East Carolina W 86-81 OT (0-0, 5-9)
Second consecutive game vs a historic rival (and a Carolina-alum coach).

Not sure and it's probably meaningless, but this might be the latest in the season we've played UNCW and ECU since our D-I Independent era prior to '84.

It will be nice if the Camels make it interesting on the favored Pirates' home floor, but let's just hope they come through without any injuries so we can get going with the conference schedule!

Camels last swept UNCW and ECU in a single season in 1955-56.

Trying to follow the game on ESPN.com but Gamecast is slow. What is going on? I saw we were up 12 late in the game and now we are headed to overtime.

Freeman went out in the last minute or so of regulation (suffered foot injury this week in practice and was bothering him late in game....might not be back tonight).

Great win for the Camels! 2-game win streak over ECU now.

Nothing said about Freeman's injury in the coach's post-game interview. Hope he's good to go vs G-W.

Great win! The last two games should provide a great jump into conference play. Lets hope Freeman and White are ready for Saturday.

I was reading through the ECU board and they were talking about how many Campbell fans were at the game and that the arena was filled with orange and there were more Campbell students than ECU students at the game. That is always great to hear.

Great to here that we had so much support for an away game. I think were finally starting to get healthy. Hope Freeman is ok for the next game. Looks like Coach Lang is starting has everyone healthy and is turning it around. Great win tonight!

Go Camels!

The ECU message board is trashing us based off our record and the fact we lost to Rio Grande...I attribute that to Darren being out (Is that wrong? It seems to be a valid excuse)

We shouldn't have lost to Rio Grande regardless of who was out.

But this is an exciting win, and Darren pulled a double-double (25-10) We are a completely different team when he is healthy.

Again I say, if this is how we are going to play at full strength, then good for us!

I would not be shocked at all to see ECU try to pull out of this game moving forward. 3 out of 4 is probably not how they drew this up.

I agree, we should have beat Rio, I feel like we would have beat RMU with Darren as well. Moving on, I guess.... BSC season starts now, tough opening stretch, 3 0f 4 on the road and the one home game is the hottest team in the league. The next two weeks could be very telling.
