Getto wanna be thug comments. Makes me laugh and wonder what life has in store for a kid or kids like that. Tying to stay classy here but its hard. I have a lot of mean things I could say but will take the high road this time.

I don't see anything wrong with what the FSU guy said. Lynch talked crap before the game and couldn't back it up! The FSU guy was right, lynch did not do anything at all last night. Lynch was really bad at passing and could not run at all.

Here is some of the stuff their players were saying on twitter after the game

Nick Moody LB
Nick Moody ‏@NickMoody10

They wanted to talk trash soooo, "we're not going to lose to a team with nobody that can play here." Pretty sure it struck a nerve #fsu

Nick Moody ‏@NickMoody10

#jordanlynch safe to say we weren't on our knees. You ended up on yours #niu #NoleNation #OrangeBowlChamps

Most of their other players all retweeted that too...

So I think it's safe to say those comments were a bad idea. Poor judgement, but something to learn from and hope we get another chance next year. I think it's safe to say those comments made a difference. Not THE reason they won of course, but still a factor.

Meh. Guys talk, and it'll all be forgotten in a couple days. They lived up to their rep on the field.

All we've got are the "if onlys" of fans on the wrong end of the score.

I would agree, should never poke a bear. Live and learn, grow and beat Iowa.

I think we need to remember that most of these people talking are either too young to buy a beer legally or just turned 21. We all say things when we are younger and it is a "smack talk" generation. Sports radio and the media live on this stuff.

I don't think anyone is really saying anything horrible. Pretty sure that Lynch just didn't realize the exposure his comments would get. I think Carey and Lynch will learn from this experience and be back soon with a different attitude and understanding.

Meh, when you win, you get to crow. I don't mind it from players so much, because they actually did stuff. It's when fans act all tough that it gets really annoying.

I don't even know what that means.

I guess FSU players are used to being tried.

The comments are basically what any of us would say if we were in his position and won the OB...I hope Lynch sees all of it and takes it in...whether the comments were blown up or not, he said what he said and he was god awful during the game...plain and simple, congrats to FSU for bringing it when needed most. Great experience and couldn't be more proud of NIU! Time to get after it for next year, that's all it comes down to.

Didn't mind that he made comments but trash talk that makes sense always works better. I fear for his academic career.
