Let me start by saying there were tons of NIU fans everywhere. Met many at out hotel and enjoyed the Huskie spirit.
Had a great time tailgating, met some very cool FSU fans, a great tailgating atmosphere.
The pregame was great, the AF parachuters were incredible though I could not help but wonder if there was a bit of foreshadowing when the one guy with the NIU flag overshot the landing, almost sliding into the wall.
As for the game just too many mistakes, dropped balls, bad passes, penalties and turnovers. We needed a flawless game to win and NIU did not play that game. That said it was a very exciting game until about 10 mins left in the 4th. NIU fans really showed up and certainly were loud in the stadium.
Finally very obnoxious and classless FSU fans after the game.. win with class. I said one guy as we left I have never come across such obnoxious fans and he replied you think we are bad, you should see Gator fans....unreal.
Overall a great experience and very proud of the Huskies and us, their fans.
