"Excuse"? You don't think Black out for this game is significant?

No more than Maymon being out for UT

At least you are getting Black back this yr. Most signs point to Maymon missing the entire year. you would think that the medical community could do a better job cleaning their surgical instruments.

X-rays were negative according to Jason Smith. He could play.

No more than Maymon being out for UT

Yep. We will miss Tarik's rebounding prowess underneath.

Tigers' presser at 2:30 p.m. Will update you guys on whether Black is able to practice today. Good news is nothing more than groin strain.

Good...at least it wasn't a pull.

Best news I've heard today.

If the guards do not start doing a better job of stopping the opposing guards up top. Then we could be in for a rude awaking. Stokes won't have to work to get open if our bigs have to come off him to pick up the opposing guards when our loses them on D.

AT has to man up this game and start playing life he is capable of doing. Keep his ass off the arch and get into the paint and battle.

About as much as Dieng for Louisville.

Had Memphs won, what would Tiger fans have said if UL fans claimed the win was tarnished w/o Dieng?

I would have agreed...

Just as I will say if Black doesn't play that we should beat UT without him as Louisville beat us without Dieng.

Doesn't really matter what Tiger fans would or would not have said. A player like Dieng makes a difference. And that's the point... you see.

Both Dieng and Maymon had/have been out a long time and both Louisville & UTK had time to adjust.

On the other hand Black got hurt last week and was expected to play Friday.

Don't hold your breath.

On the bright side, Tarik won't foul out!04-chairshot
