Looking at NIU's current helmet (larger logos), I see no reason UAB can't use the school name and large Blaze head together and fit it on there with no problem. It would be a better overall look without caving on Mackin's desire for letters on the helmet. The tiny dragon either needs to go or go large.

Large Dragon on one side, UAB on the other. UAB on the plastic fitting holding the mask in place mid-forehead.

Our Rampant Blaze logo on one side, UAB on the other, updated Hawai'i bowl jersey design.

Obviously continually to gripe about it on a message board isn't getting it done.

NIU's helmet looks too busy to me. That's just my opinion.

Yep, mine too.

How is it too busy? It's one solid color, with their logo on it. You can't get much more basic than that, unless you go to an Alabama or Penn state style helmet. You want busy? Look at Oregon or Maryland

Oregon and Maryland have taken helmet logo designs to another level, & that's putting it mildly. Boise State's new design is not far from this, either. East Carolina's "Jolly Roger" logo is one of the most impressive in Conference USA.

To behonest, I really don't like the all green jerseys. I liked the previous gold and green jerseys unveil in 2008. The new unis just look...blah.

What is "BLAH!" is our W-L record so far in ANY jersey or helmet design. When that improves, our unis and helmets will look much better.

BLAH is what I say everytime I have to read a post that you somehow bring up ua or the drunken dead bear.

Besides if we're talking about the helmet for the 300th time lets talk about the jerseys. And if W-L records make a uni look better exxplain Boise, Oregon unis. They have WAAAAAY more "W"s than us and thier unis aren't that great.
