We are 5-1 against Ga. Southern, but he last time we played them was 11/17/2007. This was game two of the Daytona Disaster in which we lost three straight games in the Glenn Wilkes Tournament. UAB lost this game 59-57 to Georgia Southern. It is also the game we lost Paul Delaney for the season, which destroyed the 2007-08 season.

Time for some payback.

Our last game played on January 2 was a win at Arkansas. UAB won 73-72 on a beautiful play drawn up in a timeout in which Howard Crawford took the last shot. UAB was down by one and Crawford hit the shot in the middle of the paint as time expired.

We inbounded it right under their goal right to Crawford. I remember the look on Pelphry's face, "What the hell just happened?"

That was the Grey's Anatomy game, wasn't it?

Yep. One and only time I watched that show.

I was at the Arkansas game. It was a beautiful play. But one that should have been easily read by the Arkansas staff if they had scouted us. I called the play to an Arkansas fan setting right next to me when i saw the alinement.

Yes, but who set the screen that freed up Crawford? Was it Milsap?

The shot in the middle of the paint was a slam dunk by Crawford.

That was the Jimmy Dykes - Are you kidding me game. He said that twice after Crawford's basket.
