Our AD has always been able to make the right decisions at the right time, thats why we arent worrying. We already turned down the MWC and the SBC once to get into C-USA. We are confident that she will make the right decision again and we wont question her.

Female AD, I am proud of UTSA for that. I remember when I was doing my practice coaching while at USM and I had a female asst. coach to help me with my team. She was the one I would go to when I wanted some top notch views and she would always come through for me. I sadly had to accept her resignation because too many were complaining about her being a woman and she didn't feel it was worth the hassle even though she loved it an I sure hated to lose her.

now THAT was funny. it took a minute, but it got funnier as I thought about it.

ODU hasn't been publicly named as being considered by the NBe, but if we were (which would make sense from a geographic and market perspective) the only reasons I would consider the risk is because of geographic considerations with Navy, Temple, and ECU. If ECU came home to CUSA I wouldn't want ODU to consider the NBE. The fees and instability aren't worth the risk and that ODU vs ECU rivalry can be something special. It already is in other sports gong back to the CAA days. it would only make sense for Marshall for the same reasons. USM should stay put. The cost and geographic oddities aren't worth it for a team that far from big east territory. The NBe just isn't that much better, and the MWC has now positioned itself as the best of the gang of five.

On the plus side for ECU, despite your horrible basketball, it looks like an all-sports invite to your whatever conference just increased significantly. However, I could see the Big East being hesitant inviting a team that would degrade their proud basketball heritage. We'll see.

Marshall has more than 10,000 students as if that means jack. UCF has 70,000 student or whatver and less than 1% give a damn if that. Well unless the Blue Man group is performing.

Mediocre facilities? Marshall has plans for many new facilities and Id put many of our current facilities over UCF's tin can piece of ship they play in.

No market? Actually the market Marshall is in isnt that bad and hardly is "no market" as he cluelessly states.

Claims we haven't had any athletic success in a decade is also false. Just because we haven't won a CUSA championship in football doesn't mean that we arnt competitive or unsuccessful in athletics. Marshall has a deeper commitment to athletics than many schools in this country.

Then it talks about out attendance in football from this past year. Marshall not only has solid attendence especially when we win more football games as we will do but to even knock our basketball is a joke. UCF shouldn't talk about anyone's basketball when their pitiful, cheating, NCAA sanction riddled, JOKE of a "basketball"... if you even want to call that complete and utter embarrassment basketball program hasn't nor will EVER win anything.

What this fool and the res of these big headed over inflated POST BCS era morons need to wake up and realize is that they hadnt separated themselves to begin with and only Boise Football and Memphis basketball were something to talk about. Hell the CUSA schools were so pitiful they waited until Boise was ready so they could piggyback on in the media rush when Boise announced later in that week. That should of showed you right there that you hold no water period. The fact that 14 or something schools have dumped the confernce you're so proud o should make you wakeup. The fact that no TV deal is done nor is any TV deal remotely close should tell you.

These schools acting like they are above anyone else is a joke. SMU, Houston, UCF, Tulane, SD State, Navy, and ECU have nothing but fluff to puff their chests out on. Solid in areas yes but hardly anything even remotely near Boise football or Memphis hoops in any way shape or form.

The best part??? UCF was easily replaced by FIU & FAU comes as well. It's not like CUSA lost some dominant force in UCF. Sorry Golden Knights. Piss off.
