I live in Greenville.

NFL -- Washington Redskins. This area is turning back into Redskin country
NHL -- Carolina Hurricanes
MLB -- Atlanta Braves, but I have a soft spot for that Nationals now.
NBA -- Charlotte Bobcats.....

RE: OT: What pro teams do you root for?
NFL - casual fan of Cowboys and Texans. Grew up an Oilers fan and haven't been a "real" fan of any team since they moved to Tennessee (no, the Titans are NOT the same)
NHL - Dallas Stars and St. Louis Blues (supporting the two NHL cities I have lived in)
MLB - Texas Rangers and St. Louis Cardinals. Also like to see the Astros do semi-decent since I went to a few of their games growing up (not as many of them as Rangers games)
NBA - no one until the playoffs, then Dallas, San Antonio, Houston, and Oklahoma City in that order. If none of those teams are in, then they might as well not have any games as far as I am concerned.
Barclays Premier League - Chelsea!!! KTBBFH!!!! Also casually root for Swansea to do well, and I can't seem to bring myself to hate Fulham. After those, my favorite teams on any given weekend are whoever is playing Manchester City, whoever is playing Manchester United, and whoever is playing QPR (in that order)
Deutscher Fußball Bund (German soccer) - my team is 1860 München who is currently in 2. Bundesliga (2nd division). Among the current Bundesliga (1st division) teams, I admire Bayern Munich's style but don't like that they have more money than God. Eintracht Frankfurt has been a good story this year and I have really followed them the most so far. Dortmund's got an amazing amount of young talent and I do enjoy watching them as well.
Major League Soccer - FC Dallas

NFL - any team that has a Southern Miss guy on it.
MLB = used to follow the braves. Now the New york mets, why? One of my sons best friends and teammates in high school got called up last July and has stuck. Oh also the cardnals, we are friends with Jason Motte.
NBA= I dont watch that, give each team 100 points and put 2 minutes on the clock

We need to talk. I think we've just become best friends.

hahah...aussie rules rules! no timeouts...no commercial breaks..unlike the 21 scheduled breaks in football here...players sit on the floor at halftime...constant action...great sport!!!
