You overvalue the ACC's importance to ESPN. ESPN's "prized property?"

Overvalue is Modus Operandi around here. Just look back at TV contract talks, Orange Bowl payout, etc.

I notice it's been predominantly new members since the initial Big East raid (VT, Cuse, Pitt and now UL) along with the ACC's massah (UNC).

That's because we're apparently the only ACC fan bases with internet connections.

How'd that internet connection work out with those lofty Orange Bowl projections y'all were bragging about?

So people that properly value the ACC's importance are internet-less...for whatever reason(s). Mmmk.

RE: [split] What are some ways for the ACC to boost revenue by 2014?
I don't understand why some of the old guard ACC members are upset. The ACC will be getting between 19 to 20 million A year from the TV contract. Not counting bowl money. Also basketball pays A lot to the conference if teams get A invite, plus wins. See Big East payout if interested. The ACC is getting the Big East two best NCAA earners Louisville & the Cuse . ND & Pitt are no slouches either. Good year's in basketball tournament wise the ACC could earn 2 to 4 million per school.

19 Million TV contract

Bowl Money ,decent year 2 to 4 million per school

Basketball Tournament, Good year 2 to 4 Million per school.

The teams in the ACC will be earning around 23 to 27 Million A year per School.
