Basketball is a fun game.

Players need to get out and play like they are having fun.
Fans need to quit acting like they had a root canal and a rectal exam at the same time while they are watching Tiger basketball. Have fun. It will make your whole experience better.

RE: Josh did a great job last night.
He called a good time out (when Stan screwed up) and a not so good one (a few seconds before the end of the first half when we should've just played through it and headed into the locker room.) He left Damien in when he was feeling it -- probably longer than he intended to -- but that was good. He complained to a ref when he missed a call. He got AB in before the second half, and that paid dividends. The OP regarding head-scratching substitutions has some merit, although some of the substitutions were well-timed and good selections. In short, he did a lot of good stuff. He usually does. He did some questionable stuff. He usually does. Players made shots, we got the win, and you know what that means -- win, and you're the hero; lose, and you're the goat.

asset if it is utilized. Just a thought. This team want win much without self confidence and the confidence of

are immediately pulled.

This team has 11 players who could reasonably be seeing 25 minutes plus with an average division I team. Guys like Hall, Simpson and Wilson are at the end of the depth chart at this time, but things are not really defined for this team yet.

Coach has to figure out the core rotation he wants, while at the same time, keeping his team happy. When March comes around, the rotation will be much tighter. Look at the Louisville box score. Even with all the foul trouble, he really only played 7 guys(195 out of 200 minutes).

For now, when playing weaker competition he still evaluating and defining roles.

The price of that evaluation is, there will be games that "should be 30 point blowouts turn into 15 point comfortable wins. However, the players and coaches learn more about who should be on the court when it really matters.

Exactly!

It’s time to get everyone ready to contribute and try to peak in March.

I thought Pastner did a good job with substitutions when we were up by a comfortable margin but still plenty of game left to play. This gave the bench guys some real game time experience, which they need. When the score got tighter, he subbed back in his better players and we got back to a comfortable margin again. I think this kind of subbing is a much better experience for the bench than waiting till the last two minutes of a 30-point blowout.

I liked how CC and Adonis sat in favor of Geron and Damien. Crawford should have been sitting more before Friday.
If the so-called starters aren't performing to the extent that they're hurting the team, they need to chill on the bench for a little while.

They didnt sit nearly enough. Geron's defense merited more PT and Damien's overall play did as well. 10 minutes was pitiful considering what he was giving us.

ok Coach.

Geron and Damien deserved more PT last game than AT and CC based on better effort and play. What's your argument otherwise?

RE: Josh did a great job last night.
It's funny that the #agenda term was being spewed back then when people (early in the process) knew Josh was already struggling to find his place as a coach.

I recall the same criticisms about #agenda and bad fans in the Porter era and now see the same words being used about people who see the writing on the wall in the Tubby era.

Perhaps the #agenda is just an agenda against poor hires.
