clark or ernst?
ok bruin fans,,,,,,,,just for grins,,,,,,,,,

i delved into yor site, watched/listened to games this year, and watch yall beat us year after year. i can safely say that ian clark is a lightsout sharpshooter. however, in my opinion, your molly ernst may be better from beyond the arc,,,,,,,,,,,33.3% fg, 33.7% 3pt (yep, the closer she shoots the more she misses). my observation is that clark has an easier time getting open in traffic where ernst shoots better off the screen and totally out-of-rhythm while in transition,,,,,,,ugly shot but accurate. clark seems to me to be more up-n-down,,,,going 1-6 on the 3s tonight bu vs. bu, where ernst is more steady and dependable,,,,,,,,,not science, just my opinion. clark shot 7-11 3s in the 100-66 lipscum beatdown, ernst shot 7-10 against a georgia state team that had the #1 3-point defense in ncaa before getting killed by you all

so bruins, who do you all think is your best 3 point shooter,,,,,,,,,clark or ernst?

Excellent question. Timing is everything and your timing on this question comes after Ian goes 1-6 from behind the arc. She is awesome, but I'd still have to go with Ian. Many of his shots are well behind the arc when defenses are giving him a little more room. BTW, this year he seems to be drawing out the defense a little bit more so he can drive around them to penetrate.

RE: clark or ernst?
sorry dudes! looks like i jinxed your molly ernst. she went 0-3 on 3s in belmonts first ever ovc conference basketball win. congrats on beating siue 66-52. but a cold molly seemed to allow your katie brooks some leeway to score her new career high of 22. but what was up with katies technical foul with 4 seconds left in the game? seriously? a tech with 4 tics,,,,,,,,,,when youre winning?????????

im stickin to my guns. ernst trumps clark. shes also cuter. besides, she holds the a-sun record for consecutive 3s without a miss. and unfortunately she set that record in the dome at etsu. clark has no such record.

i guess yallve seen this,,,,,,,,,,

RE: clark or ernst?
Clark had a perfect night (10-10) against VCU, not all threes but most were. Plus he had a 9-11 from 3 night against Northeastern. No denying the cutest, but we're talking shooting here.

As for Katie, looked like she got fouled hard, up 14 with 4 seconds left and didn't appreciate the welcome to the OVC gift from siue with the hard late foul.

Thanks for the Youtube, hadnt seen that.

I think you have my luck. When I mention something, it seems to change from under me. Molly will get it back.

Our team has been improving under Coach Ezell. The one to keep an eye on is Luffman. She is just a sophomore transferring from MTSU (a great women's program where she played a lot as a freshman). We also have a transfer from Oklahoma that is sitting out this year. It's just going to keep getting better.

Katie Brooks is probably who you're thinking of. Yes, she has been playing well till tech. She got it going late, but it was too little to late.

I still think Luffman's a future star. Tonight she had 16 points and 16 rebounds. That, my friend, is dominating the boards.
