Had to be the OT win vs Marshall... thrilling game to be at.

#2 would be I was forced to an NCstate game(I wore an ECU shirt) and my girlfriend(Ecu student as well) and I found a tailgate with Ecu alumni that worked for state watching the ECU vs USM game on two big flatscreen tv's. It was awesome seeing NCsux fans looking at us like "wtf?"

Marshall had pulled to within 7 about midway through the 4th quarter.

UAB then did something that good teams do, and UAB hasn't done in a long time. They went on a 5 minute, 80 yard soul-crushing, clock-eating, game-icing drive.

That, and coming storming back from being down 16-0 and beating USM.

Yeah, I know the year they had, but as a Blazer fan, I don't take any win for granted, and we still owe them a few broken hearts.

Mine is the day that Coach Ruff finally wakes up and makes some coaching changes on defense at ECU. There are two proven coaches looking for jobs that have made it known they would be happy to come back to Greenville and coach the pirates yet we are hanging on to a defensive staff that in 3 years at ECU have produced 2 of the worst seasons of defensive football ever at ECU.....

I truly thought this would have been done already....The clock is ticking and these Coaches have other schools interested in them as we speak.

The furious comeback we had to almost beat A&M. That was one of the most exciting games I have ever been at. The energy was just surging and I could even see a few blue hairs jumping and hollering.

my favorite moment of the season was when the final whistle blew and the most miserable season in my life ended (saying a lot since I am just weeks shy of being 60 years old).

Going 4-4 in the conference wouldn't be a highlight for many fans.

However after winning 2 conference games in the previous 3 years; winning 4, including the last 3, becomes a bigger deal than most would understand.

Hopefully ours will be tomorrow at the Armed Forces Bowl!

USM vs. UTEP. We score with more than three minutes to go. I look at my friend to the left, then to the right and say, "guys, I hope we go for two because I wanna see Ellis blow this game". Sure enough, as if i was the voice on the other side of his headset, we go for two and miss. Laughs shared all around the room. I then said, "$20 we don't see the ball again". Nobody took the bet.

That's the most I enjoyed watching USM football since Ronnie Thornton weaved his way into the end zone in 2011.

Until tomorrow, though, it was watching Eddington return a KO for a TD to clinch a bowl berth and also break the nation's longest string of games without a KO return for a TD.

Second would be the last second FG to beat Kansas, a road victory against an AQ team.

Early in 1st game in El Paso vs Oklahoma, UTEP blocks a punt and runs it in for a td. UTEP led 7-0 but it was down hill from that point on.

Oh well, maybe next year. Looking forward with optimism, with no apparent reason, to see what our new coach can do.

Other than firing E12, I guess it was when we took UCF to OT.
