FIU - Tip of the hat...
Hey Panthers, I like the direction that Pitino Jr. has your team going in. They are playing some tough defense now and the three point shooting is at times explosive.

I could see you guys getting hot and making a run in Hot Springs.

Thanks. I believe it's way too early to tell, but Pitino Jr. is working them very hard indeed, so a good turnaround could happen soon. Good luck the rest of the way.

What was the deal with the 5 point play?

It wound up a 4 point play but........a foul occurred away from the shooter as or after the ball was released from the three point shot which allowed the basket to count then the other player fouled went to the line for a normal 1 and the bonus (missed second shot). They put the wrong person on the line at first then took that point off the board and let the correct player shoot the free throw. It was confusing but they got it correct........I think

Alright. I gotcha. The HSSN guys seemed to be explaining it as a five-point play, so I was dumbfounded.

Wonder if it was the same crew that can't count to 6.
