Article from Louisville's UofL Card Game:

Fans being fans, and fans of UK being among the most extreme examples, they’re always going to have problems acknowledging any of UofL’s accomplishments. That’s okay. But Louisville’s forthcoming membership in the ACC is impossible for them to belittle or ignore. The ACC is an entirely different neighborhood.

Its good news for Louisville to be able to compete head to head with Kentucky for recruits and not have the conference going against you. Although for basketball, the Big East is far superior to the SEC.

For one last year, then we will say The BE WAS far superior to the SEC in basketball.

1. We already out recruit Kentucky for Football...as for Basketball nobody has PayCal "Salary Cap"...05-stirthepot

2. We have much more important fish to fry then UK...like the Sugar Bowl, Florida State, Clemson, Virginia Tech, Pitt, Syracuse and the rest of the ACC in Football and Basketball.

That article pretty much describes what it felt like to be a Pitt fan post PSU rivalry. They thought they were better than us and didn't want to play us anymore.

You'd think that pretentiousness would die after the skeletons that came out of their closet. I doubt it, though.

It didn't. Not even a little...

Even with a new quality Football coaching staff in Lexington, the talk is all Basketball 24/7 . You can bet PayCal wouldn't have it any other way.

Very true. Hard to compete with Calipari for basketball recruits. We know this at Syracuse. I think UK will have a hard time competing against the other SEC football teams for recruits: Florida, LSU, Alabama, Georgia. Just too big a financial advantage for those teams over Kentucky.
