RE: other bowl ticket sales
Can someone explain where this flood of tickets on stubhub comes from?
Is it ticket brokers who buy them in the hopes of a good match up? Because if so, I'd have to think they're going to stop buying tickets for bowl games, outside of the NC and a couple BCS games, they have to be losing money on every game.

I have wondered about that

If they're freebies, that seems quite odd they can charge the school.
If you're going to flood the market with thousands of tickets.. I don't know how you can then make a school charge people a hundred dollars for a ticket. How is that system not challenged?

This makes sense.
I believe the Motor City Bowl (and the MACC game) used to flood tickets to employees, etc. of the big three.
Wouldn't it be funny if folks are going out and buying tickets for charity, military, etc. and those tickets were being resold through stubhub, etc.?

RE: other bowl ticket sales
I am MORE curious how there are tickets in the NIU section (411, 408 & 106) on stub hub that are selling for less than face value.
There is one set of 4 in 110 going for more than face value but that makes sense...not that someone is going to buy those for $549 ea
Any word on where the students will be sitting?
