There is no doubt about that, and I don't think anybody would even try to argue that. Roddy has been consistent for years, but he doesn't show up on highlight reels as often as Julio. He's more of a Marvin Harrison type, and Julio is more in the mold of Randy Moss. Both are good receivers, and both offer different skill sets, which is part of what makes the Falcons so difficult to defend, especially with Tony G running wild in the middle of the field.

It's pretty funny the Jets are going back to Sanchez after what they did to him last week. McElroy got hit one too many times I guess.

The game itself, yes. To be selected to it(initially, not as the 27th alternate) is still an honor however.

I disagree. I think the whole thing is.

Well you have you right to your opinion. I think of it like an all-star, all-conference, all-American, all-state, all-area team. It highlights the best of the best at that specific level. It would mean something to me if I was selected.

So do you think All-American selections and All-Star teams are as well.

All American: I don't follow college football outside of UAB so I don't really have an opinion there.

All Star teams (I assume pro): Yes. They are nothing but popularity contests.

Julio Jones made the Pro Bowl, so the Birmingham News made a big deal out of it by placing an article about it on the front page of the sports section.

In fact, the Birmingham News sports section is nothing but a cheering section for UAT. Every other article is about UAT playing Notre Dame.

And some guy having an O by getting tickets.

And Solomon writing "articles" about attendance at various events.
