Down 11 at the half, it hasn't exactly been a barn-burner but NIU doesn't look as overwhelmed as I thought they would. I consider that some progress.

I have no clue how NIU set O is working. 3 pass weave then high pick, then complete breakdown. Pick not even set right or guard reads pick wrong, no pass screen away. Good hustle is keeping us only down 11.

Getting outrebounded by a 2 to 1 ratio. Gotta find a way to get more. As the half went on, NIU managed to defend without fouling, which was huge.

It's weird, because like 2 times a half they'll run a nice set play, but the rest of the time somebody is in outer space or mishandles the ball for a second and all hell breaks loose. It's....it's not smooth.

Nader should've just grabbed that rebound. Ugh.

But he gets the turnover and nails a three. All is forgiven.

It's not satisfying to watch, but I agree with Monty's decision to go zone and let Washington live and die by the three. Try to minimize the size advantage.
