I guess there really is no market for UCF 05-stirthepot

That said, UCF is owning them.

Tired of posting in CUSAbbs to just get flamed and have our conference mates root for the other team...

I'll be more active here during baseball season.

I think as a group us CUSA fans should quit picking on you guys, reality is doing a good enough job screwing you guys over as it is.

Just got home from the game. Ball State football players never once took cheap shots at anyone. They earned a bowl bid and my respect tonight. Go Knights!

UCF brought 10k+ to a non-Liberty bowl game. Who else in CUSA can or would do that?

Southern Miss has done it a lot wih the New Orleans Bowl and the Mobile Bowl. Quit beating your chest newb lots of CUSA schools (Marshall ECU Memphis Southern Miss Houston Rice (basing this off their ticket sales this year) SMU Tulsa) could probably get 10k fans to a bowl 3 hours or less away.

RE: No UCF/Ball Stat thread
Heck of the new CUSA schools I'd say ODU, Charlotte, UTSA (going off of bball), MTSU could probably do it considering how a bowl would be fairly new to 2 of them and the other hasnt been to a lot in their history. I'd expect Tech to do it too if it was in Shreveport or New Orleans maybe even Memphis or Mobile. When you bring 10k to a bowl in San Diego come back and brag

I would say that there wasn't a thread due to the level of care that we CUSA schools give about the Golden Knights.

should have probably put it on the Big East board. Plenty of Boise fans would have cared - oh wait!

RE: No UCF/Ball Stat thread
I am glad to see UCF win the game. I can remember when UCF came into the conference as a potential perrenial power in football and to see it come full cycle is a nice thing. I applaud their success and hope we can renew our series with them as we have had some great games. It is the mark of a great series when an 0-12 USM can take a team having a season like UCF had and send it to multiple overtimes. I am happy for UCF and have no doubt, we at USM will match up with them in the future.

UTEP for one, can. It took 12-15K to the New Mexico bowl.

During a decent season, we can even do that during a regular season game at SMU.
