RE: Foster Picks Bama
I wouldn't say that. I wasn't totally convince Foster wants to go to Bama. He was very timid and it took him a while to spit out that he plans on going to Bama. Wouldn't surprise me if he Decommits in January. Either way I hope the kid well.

RE: Foster Picks Bama
Aight, now that I had time to relax and enjoy a drink I'll offer some thoughts.

This whole thing doesn't add up to me. Just 2 days ago he texted his family saying he was going to Pitt per Chris Peak. Coach Lyons(CV) told Bob L last night that he was going to Pitt. And then the odd press conference where he paused for 30 or more seconds and said he's going to Bama and started crying. Then he said he was sorry. His own mother looked stunned by his decision.

Maybe I'm reading too much into this. I don't know. I do wish Foster well in Alabama. I hope he's a Heisman Candidate in 3-4 years. But again, something isn't reading right, right now.

RE: Foster Picks Bama
I just don't have the energy to care that Foster chose Alabama. I would have liked to have seen him at Pitt, but TBH I am much more concerned with Pitt landing QBs, OLs and RBs in that order. WRs are either 4th or 5th on my list depending on whether the TE could (should?) be more valuable in the end. As much as I'd love to get them all, I'd be more broken up about losing the stud OL and QB recruits that Pitt has commitments from right now. Other great recruits are still to be found for WR - even if they don't carry a 5 star ranking.

RE: Foster Picks Bama
I think Foster wants to be at Pitt with his friends. I think his mother wants him at Pitt close to home, that is why she showed up today wearing a Pitt sweatshirt. (per Toney Greco, she was sitting in the office at 2:20pm wearing Pitt gear!!!!!!!) She thought he was going to Pitt, Foster thought he was going to Pitt. He told everyone the past few days he was going to Pitt. Mom wanted Pitt, dad wanted Bama. Presser started 15 minutes late... because dad was 15 minutes late... dad made a deal with the devil (Nick Saben) Foster isn't happy about it.

RE: Foster Picks Bama
Now that he has comitted to Alabama, I can finally say that he was overrated. He won't be an impact player in college. Chryst pulled his offer that morning because he didn't meet all of the criteria on his checklist. It wasn't about his heart but about business ($$$).

Ok, I'll stop with the sarcasm now.

Definitely a surprise. Let's see who else Chryst and staff get to comitt to Pitt.

RE: Foster Picks Bama
Wow. This sounds like a really strange story. Still - it's good to feel like someone who could have had the chance to go to Bama wanted to go to Pitt.
