Should be another good year of ASUN baseball. Jacksonville has really fallen hard though. In both basketball and now baseball. Last year was supposed to be a major year for them. It will be interesting to see how they bounce back.

JU's coach is retiring at year's end as well...as for Stetson, I see a rebuilding year ahead for the baseball team, although they've made a recent habit out of being great when they're expected to stink and flopping when they're supposed to be really good.

NKU had a decent D2 program but they're going to have a hard time staying up with the league as a cold-weather school playing a lot of road games to start the year. Losing Belmont will be an RPI hit, but at least someone else will win the tournament now!

I'll have to look into what Stetson has lost from last year. I never take Stetson lightly! Losing Belmont will be fine. I wish Mercer had another chance at them, but we will be fine without them. If JAX would have been strong last year, the league would have been CRAZY.

I really enjoy going to college baseball games...it is such a leisurely atmosphere! It is nice to know that my Spartans are expected to be right in the thick of things in a tough conference.

I'm looking forward to baseball as well. It could easily be Mercer/Upstate in both basketball and baseball finals.
