Unfortunately I cannot use that. The rules for fair use of a collegiate trademark can be (over)simplified into: You can use the name. You can use the logo. But you can't use both at the same time. And yes, I've actually gotten legal threats from CLC on this.

The faster we get gojaxstate.com to resolve to this address (or another site), the better.

The old site is still there, it just can't be accessed because of the bandwidth cap. If I had server side access, I could retrieve that stuff and move it here - or rebuild and format it for a news/blog format site to use as a gateway to the forums - which I think is the best possible solution. It will require a little cash outlay though. I am willing to volunteer the time and work. I would hope that others would be willing to volunteer a little spendola. If one of the admins has a paypal account, I would be willing to toss a 10 spot toward the $72 a yahoo small business account would cost. As long as we didn't overdo the images that are actually hosted on-site, I doubt bandwidth would ever be a problem. We could link here from that site.

Or they can toss out the idea of a news blog site and route gojaxstate.com here. It really makes no difference to me. I am just offering.

Understood. I should have thought about that.

That said, I should probably take the logo off of the blog mock-up I made.

I put up a temporary logo. Graphics aren't my strongsuit ... but we have people with that ability.

I've killed freebie emails on registration again until gojaxstate.com is working to let more people know. The riff raff has figured out freebies aren't banned right now and it's nearly impossible to sort out trolls from legit users.

Hard to tell....USA vs TROY is getting big....We are expecting around 30k at TROY this coming year.

There was 25k at USA this past year in a monsoon. Would have easily been over 30k otherwise.
