Projected 2013 FB Schedule
Based on the work of Sam Werner at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

We know the first 4 games for sure (the others are projected):

Alabama, in Atlanta (SEC)
W Carolina (FCS)
@E Carolina (Big E)
Marshall (C USA)
----------------
@Syracuse
B C
@Ga Tech
UNC
@Duke
Miami
Pitt
@UVa

Comments? I don't care for the non-conference schedule (a beat down followed by 3 who cares?). B C is only mildly interesting. However, I'm looking for revenge against UNC, Miami, AND Pitt, so I like having those 3 at home!

RE: Projected 2013 FB Schedule
I doubt we get Syracuse. I think we keep FSU because we are scheduled to go there next year. The league isn't going to want to upset FSU by not giving them their home game w/ us since there have been complaints about their home slate lately.

RE: Projected 2013 FB Schedule
What we actually got:

VIRGINIA TECH
Aug. 31 vs. Alabama (Georgia Dome, Atlanta, Ga.)
Chick‐fil‐A Kickoff Game
Sept. 7 WESTERN CAROLINA
Sept. 14 at East Carolina
Sept. 21 MARSHALL
--- begin ACC play ---
Sept. 26 at Georgia Tech (Thursday), ESPN
Oct. 5 NORTH CAROLINA
Oct. 12 PITTSBURGH
Oct. 19 OPEN
Oct. 26 DUKE <-- I was wrong
Nov. 2 at Boston College <-- I was wrong
Nov. 9 at Miami <-- I was wrong
Nov. 16 MARYLAND <-- I was wrong
Nov. 23 OPEN
Nov. 30 at Virginia

Well, as it turns out I was wrong on 1/2 of the ACC schedule. Who knew they would have us play @BC and @Miami 2 years in a row, or host Duke 2 years in a row? Who knew we'd draw Maryland out of the Atlantic division? I'd have expected the Terps to go to Pittsburgh, honestly - but they got FSU instead of us (really, all of this came about because of the decision to go to Odd/Even years for the intra-divisional games).

Then I began to get exited about our schedule when suddenly I realized we will blow it at some point.
