Really? you make it sound like, if not for the NCAA, you would have been bowl eligible this year. However, by just scratching the surface we see wins over:
FBS Transitionals - South Ala, Ga. State and Tx. State (2-11, 1-11, 4-8 resp.)
Div II - TxA&M Commerce (1-9)
Div II - NW OK St (4-7 with a big win over OK Panhandle St. 34-30)
FBS Indy's - NMSU and Idaho (1-11, 1-11)
FCS - McNeese St - (7-4 and probably UTSA's best win)
Winning is better than losing but this is in no way a bowl eligible schedule; that's why you're listed as transitional not because of any NCAA rule.
You're right we didn't have a powerhouse record like FIU's 3-9. With quality wins over Akron (1-11) FAU (3-9) S Ala (2-11)
FAU and FIU would have had a shot at 8 or more wins with that schedule too.
Apparently the 93rd and 86th rated strength of schedule weren't easy enough.

Better than 108. And anyone looking at those schedules can see the big differences. Not saying FIU/FAU were good but that schedule you guys had would make them win a lot more as well.

Based on last years records, neither FIU or FAU have any real bragging rights for the moment, but it sure is going to be fun watching you two snipe at each other. It won't even take much for the rest of us to stir the pot once and a while. Go ahead...get nasty!
