Cliffs of Dover. It's an instrumental by Eric Johnson.

Also, Sean Combs remade Kashmir for Godzilla, the tail ending features the roar of Godzilla. Could use the roar for something...

"The Water Song" ~ Hot Tuna. Used to use this at WRAS back in 19mumblemumble.

Theres a version of "Mean Old World" that is on both the Duane Allman Anthology album and also on the Deluxe Anniversary version of "Derek and the Dominos". It's Eric Clapton and Duane Allman doing an acoustic instrumental version. Very tasty.

You want an old school campus radio story? Night shift, and you need to go take a dump, so you play the full length version of "Whipping Post". Presto! Plenty of time, no need to hurry! >Grin<.

The UAB Fight Song....Is it recorded on CD? Definitely have to have that, matter of fact, that's the lead selection for the show.

I do have some music from my CD collection that I can use, but, there are some tracks I'd love to acquire that I don't have available. If I post a list of desired tunes that some of you may already have access to, could I impose upon you to "burn" the tracks on to a disc for me, please?

I will $$$ for it/them.

In addition to what I already have from my CD collection, these selections would be more than welcome additions....If anyone here can "burn" these tracks for me on disc, please PM me and let's work out the arrangements for restitution for services rendered:

Jay Z - Heart Of The City (instrumental version)
E.S. Posthumus (3) - Pompeii

I have found some of this music at a local record store and have a number of select tracks at my disposal to use on the air. Music task accomplished. Now searching for some topics & segments. Got a few written down on paper, but, the more, the merrier.

...what about 'Dragon Attack" by Queen? Kinda weird lyrics (imagine that), but a pretty peppy tune overall... here's a vid... Mercury was pretty freaky, but could jam out...

...actually, just wanting to see if I could post something with a video link! 03-drunk

...in HS, our bball team used to 'breakout' with Crazy Train...pretty 'cutting edge' at the time, but...it's used in minivan commercials now, so... dang...03-lmfao

Actually, if you're looking for the perfect 'intro' with something 'heavy', the beginning of 'For Whom the Bell Tolls' by Metallica is pretty dang hard to beat...04-rock

Far as I know, everything's "green light." Station manager(s) gave me their blessings to run the show.
