RE: Who goes West in 2015?
In the east, FAU and FIU have a lot of work to do. FIU would have been in better shape had they retained their coach. Until (unless) UAB ever gets a stadium it's going to be tough for them to build a consistent winner. ODU is going to struggle early just because they - like UTSA in their four losses in '12 - will experience the difference in the overall speed of the game. With that, Marshall and MT will be the initial top two teams in the east at least initially. We had six or seven on the all-conf freshman team, so we have some good young talent that played a lot of snaps this year. That combined with some coaching stability and MT is in a very good shape during this transition.

I just don't see Montana moving. Their admin seems fine where they are, their fans, alumni, and big boosters seem fine where they are. Plus there is an issue of state law that reads Montana or Montans State can't move without the other moving also.

Same goes for JMU and Delaware. Neither admin seem like they want to move. And as long as the CAA seems like a viable conference I don't see them moving.

How does the scholarship situation work for ODU, Charlotte etc; When can you sign a class of 24 and have a roster of 85?

If that's the case then the league will be out of balance for a year and will take some creative scheduling.

That is, of course, assuming that no one else leaves CUSA. 05-stirthepot

I think we're gonna be scheduled in 2014 regardless but that's certainly exciting news. I'd hate for the team to win another conference title and not get to take home a trophy.05-stirthepot

That will work for me. An FBS team visiting our stadium in our 2nd year 04-cheers
