No. We're just going to roll with whoever stays heading into next year. Add nobody.

Seriously though there are candidates out there ....why arent we replacing anyone?

No doubt Rod has candidates and some of them may have been hired. My guess is the announcement(s) won't come until after the Orange Bowl.

Not sure what we gain by not announcing a hire...

As long as the recruits know who they are by now, I'm fine with it

Keep in mind that except for guys building new staffs like DD who basically have little else to do since they don't have to deal with game prep, this only the very beginning of assistant coach hiring season. Think back on when we've see assistant spots filled in the past, I don't think it's been December.

But we haven't been raided either...When kill left DD was quick to make replacements..

THe only reason I can think of for not hiring new assistants is to not disrupt the team for the Orange Bowl...but at this point I can think the NC St coaches are putting in 100%..

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't it a dead period for recruiting right now anyways? So the assistants that are headed to NCST wouldn't have many recruiting trips to be taking anyways.

RE: Assistant Coaching Candidates
Any chance that we would see Garrett Wolfe emerge as a candidate for one of the assistant coaching positions? Possibly special teams or running backs? Would his troubles in Florida be enough rule him out?

Also is Brad Ohrt staying? I think that NIU's football players are well conditioned and I suspect that Brad deserves much of the credit.
