How are we only down 9? They've been throwing 3-point daggers since the tip!

Looking rather putrid. 1 for 10 start for us in the 2nd half.

I can't stand the brand of basketball we play. Why be a running team when we are the least athletic team every single time we step out on the floor? I can't watch anymore of the clanks off of the backboard.

We have no answer when they put a zone to on us. Offense doesn't look much different wait, wait, wait... desperate shot...

Hawk better get some athletic guards that can play.
They are exposing our guys.

Somehow, I get this feeling that this game looks like any number of our MAC games will look, especially against the east.

Thnaks much. I enjoyed the second half. HOWEVER I STILL THINK POKELY adds very little to this teams effort. Takes to long to get shot off, not fast enough on defense gives away more than he contributes. To his plus side he is a very good free throw shooter.

Watched the entire game. Some observations:
- Western moved very well without the ball.
- Broncos make good decisions; back doors, passing to weak side, etc.
- Need to cover three shooters better. Dukes were hot from outside...which was the difference in the game.
- Hawk's team is very disciplined, unselfish, and patient.
- Again, this team epitomizes just that....TEAM.
- All players can contribute. Young players not intimidated.
- Paul is an incredibly smart athletic player.
- Whittington improves every game.
- One can question player's contributions such as Pokely, Richie, etc. but if you watch what they do when they don't have the ball...picks, moving to space, passing, etc. one realizes their worth.
I was very impressed even with a loss. Contrary to Hawk bashers, this was a very well coached game with many players stepping up. No weak links. Future looks promising.

NOT A HAWK BASHER AT ALL. JUST WOULD LIKE TO SEE AUSTIN SHOOT MORE AND TAKE ADVANTAGE OF SHOTS WHEN HE HAS THEM. BRANDON IS A GREAT KID BUT HE NEEDS TO GET A FASTER RELEASE AND TIME IS RUNNING OUT. I AGREE THAT MANY OF THE FRESHMEN HAVE HUGE UPSIDE.

One important aspect of the game that doesn't involve the ball is defense.

What are our expectations ? Watching MAC west basketball is brutal and our ooc schedule is low level so should less than 20 wins be acceptable. We can't handle the press, when pressured rarely can we make individual plays. These are elementary. Look at lesser talented teams ( Princeton) that make fools of those who press them and we can't do it nor could since Hawks tenure These are easily correctable glaring issues

We get it. You hate Hawkins , you think Cubit got screwed, and there's some conspiracy theory in the athletic department.
7-4 right now is over-achieving with this team.
