I will be rooting hard for all MAC teams this Bowl season beginning today with Toledo. The lack of respect for NIU nationally begins with the conference we play in. C'mon MAC, let's sweep the bowls this year and show what we are made of!

My one day love affair with Toledo started this am. Go Rockets! Back to normal hatred on Sunday however.

Absolutely! Go Rockets! This is a big game for the conference, and what I believe is one of the better matchups of the bowl season. Should be an entertaining game to watch.

I stomach up and wear my blue and yellow for bowl games and OOC BCS games. This game is important because I really don't want to hear how similar we are to the WAC. The WAC has UTSA and Texas State. Even though my son went to UTSA and I like the school, but EMU could hammer these teams. I want a Toledo win today

I really really hate Toledo for 3.5 hours a year and anytime we need them to lose. But during bowl season, I'm a full fledged MAC fan. Go Rockets ==T=O=L=E=D=O==>

Me too. The MAC owns the blue turf...

We'll see what you guys say if Toledo wins, we lose, and Toledo ends up ranked higher than us. Don't laugh, it always seems to happen.

All Mac teams are underdogs in the bowls

Its a tough haul for Toledo today, you could argue that Utah St was 2 points away from an Orange Bowl, they lost to UW 16-14, if they win that game, they are playing FSU, not NIU.

A Rocket win here would be quite a feat to beat a #22 rated team who will likely have more fans at the game

6-1 is pretty darn good, and it would still be a MAC record for post season victories.
