Coaches Staying
Coach U, McNutt, and one other unnamed coach are the only ones leaving. From a player.

RE: Coaches Staying
Doeren's new DC at NCSU is a LB coach- which makes it at least a little less likely that Kane would go, though Kane had TEs last year.

RE: Coaches Staying
Aren't Neilsen, McNutt, Coach U and Kane all of our lead recruiters??? How are we suppossed to finalize this class and keep it together if they are all leaving? My buddy on the coaching staff at Glenbard West said Neilsen was just in there the other day w his NC State gear on offering kids. I know they are going after a bunch of our other targets as well. Curious how this is going to turn out

NC St. already has 18 recruits. It is possible that some may leave due to the coaching change. The 1st 3 coaches you mentioned are our 3 hightest volume recruiters in that order.

Not sure who Carey has in his pipeline to replace these guys...somewhat worrisome when your best recruiters are all leaving

Not really worried about it..recruiters are the most valuable position in college football, but they come and go. I would hope the inroads we made with schools in chicago area would help us in the recruiting department.
I would also argue we don't compete against the same kids as NCst, ND or Alabama...

Come on. If most of the staff stays and you have a BCS bowl to sell, we should be fine. We probably would not have gotten alot of the guys NCST is offereing, so it does not appear to be a big deal. OB should open some other doors, so everybody should not panic.

Canada to NCState as OC. Not sure how long term NCState recruiting the chicago area will be. Not a national power and haven't played in a BCS bowl.
