Yes Clemson doesn't want to finish any lower than 15th in hoops.

No idiot, it's about football.

There simply isn't enough talent, not even mentioning the high level talent, north of PA for 3 schools to compete at a high level. You add UConn and you pretty much assure that Syracuse, BC, and UConn will be at best .500 teams and most likely battling it out to stay out of the basement every year. Remember that you are now in a situation you have never been in.....behind Rutgers in conference prestige by a wide margin. Gettingh quality players out of NJ was already tougher with the improvements Rutgers has made in their program in the past decade, they can now sell games against the Buckeyes, The Wolverines, the Badgers, the Cornhuskers, and most assuredly the Nittany Lions every year.

Adding UConn weakens the entire conference not only because they are a crap football program and always will be a crap football program, but because it also weakens the two almost-Canadian schools we already have. They could be the best team in hoops for the next 20 years and in the long run because of how football has not only passed, but lapped basketball twice in level of importance it would be a loss for the conference.

Didn't have to call him an idiot. I kinda felt he was pulling your chain a little man. You know, like extending an olive branch.
