I would have loved him here. lnteresting that Tech had Dooley and Dykes now Holtz. Guess they like that family tradition.

Looking like it will be a relatively unknown commodity coming to WMU to try his luck with the Broncos

I had not made that connection - nice pick up, Liam.

No doubt this job has been offered declined and missed out to offer others. Make you wonder why.

Not necessarily a bad thing.

There was only one poster that was vocally against Holtz. And honestly, I don't think it was really about Holtz.

Matt Canada may be off the table, too...

http://www.mlive.com/broncos/index.ssf/2..._assi.html

Quote:KALAMAZOO, MI -- Matt Canada might be on Western Michigan University's radar to fill the school's open head football coaching position, but the Wisconsin offensive coordinator is reportedly being sought after by North Carolina State.

"On Western Michigan University's radar" seems a bit vague to me. This could mean anything on the spectrum from casual administrative interest that amounted to no contact to a full-blown interview.

"might be" could also mean Drew got Canada's name off Bronco Stampede.

It's all speculation.

RE: Another coach not good enough...
If we're really a source of information that's really weak. If I'm the board that decided Holtz wasn't good enough and the reason he didn't take the job here, that's even weaker. :domokun:
