It's a good thing you weren't here for the 2004 defections...compared to that time, we may as well all be sitting around a campfire singing "Kum-ba-ya"!

That took place on KillerFrogs. This CUSA board didn't exist until TCU took a MWC invite. Thats when things got ugly there. Me, SouthenMissForever, MarshallISQBU and a few others started to advertise this board. Within an hour there were 300+ registered.
But you are right, this is a pic nic comparired to the last conference realignment.

There was a CUSA-talk board prior to this one where most CUSA discussions took place. Killerfrogs was a subset of the TCU board that let things get out of hand. There was indeed a legitimate CUSA board prior to this one that had mostly civil discussion.

And unlike UAB, we took action to fix the problem instead of keeping him four years.

Great insight from mwp1023, who has 50 total posts, and has a posting activity gap from May 27, 2011 to November 29th of this year.

USM and its 1,351st ranked television market, 0-12, 0-4 vs UAB in last 4. Basketball team who great years are making the NIT, probably should be worried too. If it was Historical performance that was driving this, USM would be in BE before Tulane, ECU, SMU, UCF etc. As a UAB fan it is obvious that the difference between any conference that is not top 5 is minute, and team success in those conferences will be school driven not conference driven.

Wait, your former conference invited Tulane you know that right? At least UAB has a very good basketball program.

Why we added all these sun belt schools will never make sense to me.
Banowsky....they now hold the majority and he has job security.
I would not think they get to vote until they are actually in - which will be end of June for most, I believe.

RE: McMurphy tweet
So question..
The schools that were scheduled to leave C-USA and haven't played a down or a quarter in the BE.. Since the conference has dissolved, does that make their exit from C-USA null and void?

I wouldn't think it would be too hard to get ECU & Tulane back since they just left a few weeks ago
