Curious how miner fans feel about UTSA flipping a local El Paso kid?

He's only listed as a 2 star but 6-4 285 is a nice frame.

From a roadrunner prospective I was surprised Coker was going for this guy. We're pretty young in our program to be snagging committed players more less a west Texas kid. Not known to recruit that area. Maybe just a target of opportunity with the coaching change?

I dont know the behind the scene details but I think it is great for the kid. I'd love for all el Pasoans to play for Utep but I think a kid should leave town and grow up

He wants to be a dentist. Imagine that meat-paw in your mouth....UTSA is a good choice for him.

I agree 100%.

Coaching changes will normally do this. Especially, if the offense or defense styles are no longer going to be the best fit.
