Looks like a lot of folks are staying in FT.L, but I know there has to be a few folks staying with or near the team hotel like myself by Miami Beach. Any official or unofficial Huskie bars around there were Huskie fans can hang out on the 30th / 31st (AM).

Definitely. We're staying in Downtown Miami the first couple of nights and we'll be heading to Miami Beach on Sunday night (Dec 30). Don't know where yet.

I will be in Miami downtown on NYE, it would be nice to ring in the New Year with some Huskie fans in a bar downtown. Not sure a good place in the area. Staying at Hilton Downtown. It looks like South Beach is not far away from downtown, I imagine that could be quite a scene.

Drunk on the beach?

Miami Beach is over rated and full of wanna be's but if you like spending $10 dollars per drink and see some awesome people watching then go for it.

$10 a drink is not good, but I am seeing prices a bit higher than that.

The Fountainbleu hotel where the team is staying is killer and has a great scene at their bar. Again expensive drinks and awesome people watching. Whenever in south Florida I stay there. I bet Florida State Grown Men has a condo nearby.

Do you know that you need to reserve a table at the Bleau Bar...and it's quite expensive (just to reserve the table)? Like several hundred dollars. It's not like you just walk in and have drinks. Tables by the window are a bit more than tables elsewhere in the room. Maybe we'd see Lucy, Frank Sinatra, and Elvis still hanging around the bar!
