We went to the football banquet Saturday. Very nice. Tyler Loos' family sat at our table. Really nice people. Food was great for $25. Very touching presentation by Coach Carey about Coach Dunbar, who won the Huskie Spirit Award. Great video. Brad Hoey did a great job as MC. I am surprised no one on this board mentioned it. Bob Heimerdinger, QB on the 9-0 1951 team gave an award to either Ashford or Moore, I forget, but said that there is bond between this team and the '51 team, which was not allowed to go to the Tangerine Bowl because the Regents would not allow it and these guys are going to the Orange Bowl.

I brought my old man with me to the banquet. Sat at the table next to Loos. Great show. Awesome highlight reel. Nearly a packed house! Would have liked to see more players sit with recruits and fans, but it was as expected.
