That might be the most believable thing you have ever posted.

Except that's not what the data shows. That's the whole point of the series of blog posts. He decided to investigate this common critique of liberals and found it to be unsupported. Liberals are slightly less likely to support laws restricting free speech than either conservatives or moderates, even for things like hate speech.
One poll is not "the data" as you have already said there may be some people in there saying what they think is the right answer, not what they actually believe.
Hell many on the left thinks opposing hate crime laws *makes you racist*

I wasn't aware that any other data had been presented. If you have any you are relying on I would be interested. If it's just your prejudices that you are relying on there's probably no point in continuing the discussion.

No. Instead he gave me a growing economy, shrinking unemployment, health insurance reform, smaller federal government and is paving the way for the USA to lead the world well into the 21st century. I really didn't need a pony after all.

You seem to have accepted this as the "new normal".

A stagnating economy, growing food stamp rolls, more people giving up even TRYING to get jobs, even MORE artificial intervention in the health insurance market, a federal govt. who is driving the invisible "recovery", all paving the way to increased debt and deficits.... isn't good enough for me.

You seem to be content with leaving a legacy of a few generations worth of debt. I'm not.

With a GDP of 2.7% the USA has the fastest growing economy in the industrialized world, We created 146,000 new jobs last month, the size of federal government and the deficit is shrinking, we have the best colleges & universities on the planet. Our future has never been brighter.

Lame Sore Losers.

America choose Obama in a Landslide because he clearly shows a good vision for ALL Americans. Republicans only showed a vision for just a select few.

Who knows whether or not "Mr. Peanut", personally, believes any or all of this. The point is, there are many Americans who Do believe it. The next 30-40 years are going to be pretty grim for just about everyone. But it's the people who don't see it coming that will find the transition to be the most painful.
