Wow........why would anyone want to be in the Sun Belt..........really!

I'm all for App. St. and GSU coming aboard. Heck, GSU looks like our #1 rival right now.

I have no gripe with them going to the Belt, but I do not want to be in a conference with them. JMU can join them.

Who is ITMonarch10? And why would anyone from C-USA want to switch to the SBC?

We'll be fine in C-USA. I think we all want to believe it's a temporary stop for 5-10 years until the ACC needs another team.

If this was even a consideration, you might as well shut down your basketball program. Plus CUSA will just raid the SunBelt again, hopefully WKU and Arkansas State.

I'd rather go ACC with UVA and VPI. Just my opinion...

I think if we ever get into the ACC it means one or both of those schools are gone. But it would still be much better than the nBE

I've heard all kinds of crazy rumors including GT to the Big 10. I think a lot is riding on the Maryland lawsuit, if they are able to get out of the $50M exit fee we may see the ACC get picked apart by the SEC, Big10 and maybe even the Big12

It's a shame really

None of those schools are going to the SEC. The SEC hasn't doubled-down on a state/market since they formed in 1932. That's why Missouri got in. Had they just wanted to get the best (willing) team available within their geographic make-up, FSU would already be in the SEC. This is why many believe the next two teams will be VPI and NCSU.

ACC is never going to happen. At least not an ACC that resembles the current ACC. Our academic standards probably aren't high enough and there are two virginia schools already. Big East is a much more realistic destination to strive to.
