When it's time for Coach to move on it will happen, but your constant whining will only further damage the ODU rep. I mean seriously, If I were a recruit and wanted to get a feel for a school I would visit the boards and check them out(which happens all the time!). You have made your point plenty clear...so chill a little and let the rest of us that might have a little hope and want to support our STUDENT ATHLETES... that rep ODU...that they might progress and contribute down the line. If Coach has proven one thing in his time here..it is that he can take a lump of clay and make a basketball team out of it. What he is working with now is def a challenge and maybe his time has come but really...Go find a new hobby for the next 4 months before you have a coronary!

If a recruit doesn't want to come here because of a fan's opinion on a message board, do we really even want a guy like that on our team?

Secondly, I started this thread, you don't have to read it and you certainly don't need to respond with a silly post like that telling me not to post anymore....move on and start another thread if you wish to discuss something else.

But I wholeheartedly disagree with Taylor making clay into a basketball team. He had a team with 3 NBA d leaguers, 1 of whom is in the NBA part time and a euro stud and could only win 1 tourney game by 1 point.

And I don't want Taylor gone "when it happens".....I want him gone now for the good of the program. Your only rebuttal to that is either to tell me to stop posting or to point to the past, neither of which I'm interested in.

Move on if you have nothing else to add about this particular topic.

The line has moved quite a bit in a very short time since being posted because everyone is jumping all over VCU. I think that pretty much says it all. This may be a rivalry game, but as of right now, it isn't much of one.

Don't shoot the messenger. I'm not the one who has recruited a team that is currently getting 15 point spreads at home against an arch rival. I'm actually the one who tried to warn people about it 2 years ago when everyone was celebrating Blaine getting us back to the tourney and losing again. Don't believe me? Look it up. I gave Blaine credit for winning the CAA title in Richmond but I knocked him for the game against Butler (although Butler is an extremely tough team to beat and a lot of good coaches have been outfoxed by Brad Stevens so he gets a pass for that) but I was pointing out that the recruiting was terrible and we were going to pay the price.

Then Blaine tried to bail on us and couldn't get a single solitary taker, even going as low as to try and find a job in freaking Wyoming. He knew what was going on and so did I, but the "usual folk", and you know who I am talking about, said it didn't matter and Blaine could develop anyone and anybody.

Well.....here we are.....one of the worst teams in ALL OF COLLEGE BASKETBALL. Last year was a rebuilding year. Then we lost an entire recruiting class in 1 offseason because once again, Blaine gambled on some kids because he couldn't find a stud player and now it's a complete and utter collapse.

So if we're gonna suck and there is no doubt we suck (don't freaking sugarcoat it, someone needs to say this stuff otherwise things won't change) might as well get some of the money back I threw into the pot that pays Blaine Taylor's salary. If you see something wrong with that then that's your problem.....not mine.

Your posts are like watching Ndamukong Suh tackle someone. Most of them i know theres nothing wrong i just don't like em for some reason i cant quite put my finger on, and then others your just stomping some one in the nuts for no reason.

Razor I remember your last absolutely want to make some money scheme.

I think the Giants were laying points or something and you were sure your own team the Giants were going to get hammered. (Vs. the Pack in the first round maybe?)

And you could not have been more wrong. I may be wrong about the game but I am pretty sure it was you betting against "your team" the Giants.

No one should ever heed your advice based on your "EASY Money" prediction as your last one was terrible and you told people to bet their mortgages on it. It was in off topic on CAA Zone.

Hurts to do but then I just remind myself that I'm doing this because of Blaine Taylor and it doesn't bother me as much. Like I said though I'd rather lose the money and ruin VCU's season in a heartbeat.

The only scenario that would suck is if we lose to VCU but by less than 12 points.

Funny enough though, the line is now 17 points. So the line has moved a full 5 points from when it opened.

People are destroying that ridiculous line. Glad I got it when I could at 15, but would love to have gotten it earlier (it wasn't available on sportsbook until the day before the game) when it was at 12 to lower it to 9.

Talked it over with a few other ODU fans and they agreed and took the exact same bet....when someone is handing out free money in this economic climate, you don't walk away from it.

It is only a rivalry if both teams are good. VCU and W&M are much closer than ODU and VCU but they don't have much of a rivalry because VCU always pastes them.

We are going to get pasted whether we come out "turned to 11" or not.......we simply don't have the horses to stay in the arena with them THIS year. Usually our big men were/are the perfect counter balance to their uptempo, run and gun style.........we would use our slow it down, pound it inside style to dictate the tempo and pace of the game and get VCU out of theres.

We simply do not have those guys on this current team. Not a single player on this current roster will successfully post up Reddick or Haley. They couldn't successfully post up guys from VMI and Holy Cross!!

And we have a bunch of freshman guards trying to beat one of the 3 or 4 best presses in college basketball. That is pretty much a recipe for disaster.

So am I scared about 12 points? Not even a little bit.

I bought the 3 points just to be safe. I don't like losing money so i'd rather safely win a little less than get greedy and lose.

Yes, that team had 2 NBA picks.....but we let a 7"0 stiff with a season average of 3 points a game go for 16 against us.

That was ridiculous.

He averaged 7 points per game that year and scored 14 vs us. Season average of 17 mins, bu played 24 vs us.

He averaged 6.6 per game

My school said that rounded to 7

Ha well either way, he doubled his season average against us and that was the difference in the game. They weren't that great of a team.

The main reason we lost that game is because we stayed man to man far too long and got in a huge hole early. Lacedarius dunn lit us up and we didn't change our D until we were down double digits.

We did the same thing against notre dame in the first round, luckily we just managed to squeak out a 1 point victory.

I'll give our guys full credit though, they came to play tonight!

We just didn't quite have the horses to stay with them.

Blaine finally decides to press which I've been calling for him to do all last year and all this year. I think we saw how much better we played at a higher tempo.

So of course in the next game we will completely abandon it.

It's totally blaine's m.o.
