Eh, only if you are already biased against W. I took that comment to mean that the US is based on immigration, which makes up our "soul", if you will. Maybe it's the use of the word "soul" that made you create this thread. If so, well, then that's an entirely different road to go down.

Maybe. But they don't help the economy either.

So immigrants are just here to take gifts and not invigorate our society? I would say that immigrants are more likely to get off of gov't assistance in a timely manner and contribute than our natural borns who are on it.
