I've never heard any actually say it to me that I can remember, but when you use the word "reparations" and everyone knows what it means, well, someone is keeping that thought alive.

Beg for them, never. I have on several occasions heard conversations and been involved in them where older African Americans explained their desire to receive reparations. Not on the lines of thinking it's owed to their ancestors, but because if enough of them demand reparations they can get something for nothing.

Now what this has to do with Egypt restoring slavery I don't know. I'd rather the discussion focus on that then be sidetracked and go down the reparations road again.
