RE: Unemployment at 7.3% - Gallup
I've heard Obama wants it to be at 5.0% so it that is what the next poll will be.
7.3% SERIOUSLY?!? Remember it's not LIE if you believe it.

I don't believe unemployment is near that number, and I also can't understand about bragging about 7+% unemployment. The guy added over 5 trillion to the national debt in 4 years.

Nope, just some made up Poll numbers. No way with the weak Jobs numbers for the past two years, the low GDP growth, lower median family income, HIGHER participation rates for Food Stamps and other government assistance the unemployment rate has dropped SO dramatically.

Isn't it 14% when you count all the people who stopped looking for work? And it's about 20% when you count the underemployed.

To be honest, I would've rather Obama made a dent - even a modest dent - into that unsustainable debt over his term and still have unemployment still hover above 8%. Despite short-term "successes," I don't think people fully realize the long-term ramifications of carrying such a staggering debt.

Not sure if that is possible. If UE was 12-14% the tax base would not bring in enough revenue to get the debt down without gutting the entire govt, which I believe would have made UE 25+%.

They have been revising the past numbers up every month. They've revised up 400,000 jobs just this year. If he was going make up some poll numbers, why not make it 4.0%?

Unemployment surged 0.9% to 8.3% for the month, per Gallup.

Okay, maybe the far left did, but the stupid masses that voted for him because things seemed to be getting better didn't see it coming.
