On paper this ought to be a rout. They are big, they are experienced, and they are very, very good. Just no weak spots in their game.

They have wins over Iowa State, Oregon and Alabama.

They are ranked 11th by AP.

Their front line will start 6-10, 6-8, 6-4, and they can bring 7-1 and 6-10 off the bench.

Their three leading scorers each shoot at least 41.3% from the arc.

Their defense is stifling. They totally dominate the boards. They have a positive A/TO as a team.

Well, overconfidence on our part shouldn't be a problem.

Dang right. We almost hung a hundred on St. Gregory last night. We'll be ready. We saved our legs.

It's been so long since we got free pizza(scored over a hundred)that the doors to the pizza ovens have rusted shut.

RE: Cincinnati thread
From Ole Miss to Cincy should tell us a little bit about whether or not we have progressed. Cincinnati is probably the better team, but Ole Miss looked pretty good when I saw them. I just hope we do not have the "deer in the headlights" look this time. Beast basketball is pretty physical. We had better be ready.

My memory failed me. I looked it up and it was known as the Bum of the Month Club.

Yahoo preview

This is the first meeting between Cincinnati and Arkansas-Little Rock, which is 0-11 all-time against ranked teams.

Do NCAA tournament games not count? Seem to remember this game against Notre Dame...

Crossed my mind, also. Of course, the poll did not go to 25 back then.

Forget what their exact ranking was, but it was certainly close to that. They did end up in the Final Four that year.

I meant under-20 turnovers for the entire game, not just the first half. Yikes.

Just way more horses than we have. And when our horses don't play very well, you have a blowout. Oh, well, we got our pay day, and hopefully our players got a little humility and resolution.

Oddly enough, even Cincinnati did not shoot the 3 well against us.
