if UT doesn't at least interview Petrino...I'll know they have given up ambitions to have a big time football program.

It's being reported that Arkansas State will pursue the Texas A&M offensive coordinator LOL.

Why? They earned it. Sad part for their fans is that they may be losing their coach ....again.
Little FYI, Auburn got permission and visited Gus in Jonesboro this week, and after visiting with him ask him to come to Auburn for a formal interview and he declined.

Tim Brando asked him this week how he could turn away from the SEC and commit to staying at ASU he explained why.

Said anyone that is saying he will leave ASU anytime soon does not know him. Guess that includes you.

I'm gonna save this post for future reference.

It is embarrassing for A State to get to the LB before the Tigers. But then, we didn't invest anything in football during the Cal years.
Who is to say they have not already asked. While I don't think they have I'm 100% sure he will tell them thanks but no thanks.

Gus is not going anywhere soon, and he has made it clear that he will not leave before ASU is a program that is in the top 25 on a regular basis, and maybe not after that.

We shouldn't rub it in on stAte fans. We've been on that rollercoaster ride ourselves with a basketball coach who had the #1 recruiting class coming in...and a surefire NCAA title in his hip pocket at Memphis.

I think Strong could go to UT. He made a pretty Milquetoast statement about Louisville today. But Boise fans have me convinced that Peterson is only leaving for Oregon or a couple other jobs. He has turned down a long list already, over the past few years.

Yea, but-but-but, does it mean everything he said and predicted about Arky St. being the next Boise St. of the south and that ESPN was gonna help them get there isn't the absolute truth ? But-but-but he said it. What an idiot.

The sad part is you guys really thought he would turn down a big time job to stay at stAte. If fuente has a really good year next user it wouldnt surprise me if he goes. I know you guys have had a couple good years but its one thing you need to know "Your Arkansas state and you play in the sunbelt
