I saw another article where it said it was Anderson's to lose.

However, it appears that Kirby Smart maybe named coach at Auburn.

Arkansas has hired a coach.

so, the rumor that pertrino is going to southern miss, which was superceded by the rumor that he has been offered the job and has been given until thursday to accept or decline, which was placed somewhat into doubt by the rumor that he was going to auburn, given new life by the rumor that kirby smart will be hired at auburn, has finally been slain by the rumor that he is going to cincy.

. . . or so it is rumored.

and people wonder why college football is often such an unhappy place.

completely agree. my theory : that's because in 2011, we had no idea how bad "bad" can get. now we know exactly what "bad" looks like, and everything is riding on this hire.

A year ago if you'd told me we were going to make a sh*t hire.. Go winless.. And be looking for a new coach, I'd loffed at you and told you that you were hating.

I honestly thought we could make a crappy hire and still be relatively good. nearly 20 years of winning will do that to you, I guess.

I never imagined, and I mean in my wildest dreams, that 0-12 was a possibility.

so, yeah, I'm there, too. this coaching hire fixes it, or we don't get out of this hole for a very, very long time.
