40,000... isn't that more than you have for your home games? Heh, we'll see. Also, since when is San Diego State a football power that we should ask them about you?

43,000 at last year's bowl game and SDSU had fewer than 2,000. Hey, SDSU is your new conference mate. BTW, check the all time record between Louisiana and ECU. UL is up 6-4, although meaningless since we haven't played in a few years. This will be a fun bowl game in the Big Easy and look forward to playing you.

Not a problem. We are used to playing in front of hostile crowds at the Benz dome.

And what hostile crowd would that be? 03-idea ECU going to have to worry about the crowd outside the dome before they even get in. But man is it a blast...let the party begin.

Tulane, my friend.

As far as the crowd outside of the stadium... I would hope our fans realize how big of a **** hole NO is and stay alert at all times.

Yup you've clearly been the better program over the last 20 years 04-jawdrop

We know how good a program you have had for a long time. We've only really been good last year (9-4) and this year (8-4 so far). Your program is very much respected. We look forward to playing you.

Louisiana beat CUSA future member FAU 35-21 today to go 8-4 for the year. Should be a great game in the Dome. Looking forward to playing ECU.

Two solid teams, yes.

Tulane and crowd are an oxymoron. They have no crowd. And downtown N.O. is a great time. Fear not and enjoy

Yeah, that one guy yelling and cheering for Tulane a few weeks ago was annoying as hell...and very hostile to boot.

As of last week, you were right behind us and Marshall in average attendance national rankings at 22,865, and you aren't close to selling out your stadium. You expect anyone to believe that you're traveling with almost double your average home attendance at 40K and 43K? Seriously?

ULL will probably bring close to 40,000. Not sure they will meet last year's numbers as that was the first time in a looooong time they were in a bowl. Maybe, it was the first time? They do like to party.

Hopefully ECU fans and CUSA can now see why we try and stay from these clowns... I wonder what ULL's all time record is in football? I would be willing to bet it is well under .500

Why exactly should I expect 40k to show up when home games didn't draw 25k? Should I expect ECU to bring 80k by that math?

I think they did some "eyeball" math last year and counted the colorful seats at the dome... Tulane probably had about 40k against us a few weeks ago also using eyeball math.

Since they are your future nBE conference mates. Over 42k in NO Bowl attendance last year. SDSU only brought about 2k. You can do the math. Will be interesting if we make it 2 for 2 against nBE teams. For ECU fans going to N.O., better get your hotel rooms soon cause they are selling fast in N.O. Central business district. PS: we really wanted ECU over a 6-6 Rice. This bowl could get over 55,000 if ECU shows.

Just booked the JW Marriott in Downtown New Orleans at the Associate Rate Discount so obviously they are not selling out too fast. Not sure how many ECU fans will show up a few days ahead of Christmas but hopefully it will be a good crowd.
