Bowls vs attendance
So the mighty Cajun fans always say WKU needs to get butts in the seat to get a bowl...I call BS

San Jose gets Military Bowl
SJSU averages 10,700 and are located all the way across the country. They will bring no fans. Plus the WAC who will be out of the football biz a week after bowl season has only 1 tie-in.

The MAC out hustles the SBC again and gets agreement to play SJSU.

Meanwhile....
The SBC is busy taking care of MT who is leaving the SBC. MT averaged the same attendance as WKU this year. Again the Attendance argument is BS

WKU will be left out in the cold again....

So this begs the question.....assuming CUSA not an option

Is WKU better off being the Southern-most school in a Northern Conference OR the Northern-most school in a Southern Conference?

I think Bowl exec would look more favorably being being the southern most in Northern (MAC) because we would be closer to southern bowl games than the rest of MAC schools.

If WKU was in the MAC we would be bowling...

WKU has been supporting the SBC with its NCAA units all these years and this is what we get.

SBC sucks....hope we are not here long.

Market, UL got screwed over by FAU in 2008 when they went to the Motor City Bowl even though FAU was below them in the standings and had no where near the fan support UL did. I'd say I feel bad, but I don't with what I've seen happen in the past.

Yeah Sun Belt sucks. You were able to move to FBS thanks to membership and enjoyed multiple post-season appearances.

Y'all have had it so bad.
