GEORGIA TECH to Big Ten on Monday

I think there are conversations going on and one of them topics of conversation is how to get out of that 50 million dollar exit fee penalty. The other thing may be what other school the BIG10 decides to bring in with GT. Maybe Virginia? Maybe FSU? Maybe Kansas?

If Ga Tech goes to the Big 10, it'll be interesting to see what the SEC would do next...

I think it's going to happen because the Big 10 wants the Atlanta market with Georgia Tech

If ga tech is 15......who is #16 for the big10?

The last time I said I'll believe it when I see it, Memphis got the BE invite the next day so I'm not saying a thing.

That's all it is - a rumor. And I'm pretty sure it's not true. GT would suffer going to the B1G.

Suffer by doubling their money because of the Big 10 network and being associated with more AAUs? I don't thinks so. It's not like they're even doing anything in the ACC anyway.

Almost all B1G members are large public AAU schools, and the three most recent additions have added new markets. Following that logic the possible candidates are UVA, UNC, Missouri, and Kansas. Probably in that order.

There would be a lot of chest thumping at the B1G if they stole Missouri from the SEC, and it's possible they could do it. If I remember correctly, before Missouri joined the SEC they hinted that they preferred the B1G. After getting beaten up in the SEC this year the easier B1G may be preferable for that reason too.

well Missouri is obviously not going to leave the SEC, so I guess Virginia or NC

mizzou wanted big10 but the invite never came. I would laugh my @ss off if they went to the big10.

If n carolina went to the big10 id say nc state to the $ec within a week.

Either UNC, UVa, Kansas, or Notre Dame would be #16 in the Big 10 if GaTech goes. Notre Dame might take the longest to get an answer from, so if the Big 10 wants them that badly, they might have to sit on 15 teams for a while.
