Note to self: "Looks like I may need to create a real nice shiny skin for both the SEC and B1G boards, and soon, b/c if GT is out the door, the ACC is officially 'officially' toast".

Interesting find: 2 years ago a TV network guy shared analysis of the relative value of potential B1G expansion teams (LINK). He ranked them in this order (remember, this is their value to BTN, not nationally):

1) Texas (duh)
2) Rutgers (done deal)
3 Nebraska (done deal)
4 Maryland (done deal)
5) Boston College
6) Notre Dame (duh, but already in footprint)
7) Kansas
8) Missouri
9) Syracuse

Yeah really! I mean, we lose MD and gain Louisville. If the BIG strikes again according to these facts it will be Kansas and BC. In the ACC's case, if you lose BC, then you gain Uconn.

Sorry, I don't see any conceivable way the ACC extending a membership invitation to UConn is in any way a gain.

The day the ACC invites UConn is the day it's official that the ACC is the "Big (East) ACC".
