Even though of everyone left in the league (assuming WKU is gone) we have the best baseball and basketball history. We've only played one season of Sun Belt football, but it's not like we are going anywhere. And it's pretty safe to assume we'll end up being decent in football.
Please do not speak to the elders in this manner. Your words will only enrage them.

In basketball, we have 9 NCAA appearances, and 2 sweet 16's. In baseball, we have 12 regional appearances, 2 super regionals, and one college World Series finishing 3rd that season. Y'all are a quality program that adds a lot of positives to the conference, but its not as clear cut as you made it out to be in your post in regards to baseball and basketball.

Gonna call a bet right now.
When both Georgia Southern and Georgia State are in the SBC, Southern will regularly beat down State in football.

Wku has a lot of things going for it. First, Middle is likely to actually push for them in realignment. Second, geography helps them with Middle, Charlotte, Marshall, and uab within driving distance. Lastly, they have the best basketball history of any team available for them, and at some point, CUSA needs to consider basketball strength.
Louisiana on the flip side has the best fan support in football and basketball, an emerging football program, and a loyal fan base. Sadly, we're saddled with state restrictions on our athletic budget, are in a state that CUSA is already in, and face likely behind the scenes opposition from La Tech and Rice.

Except unless you go to 16 there is no way for you to be in the same division as UAB. And if UAB pulls rank stays in the east, then MTSU/WKU go to the division with UNT, UTSA, UTEP, Rice, La.Tech.

Don't forget Baseball attendance. We are consistantly in the top 20 in the nation in Baseball attendance and without a doubt have lead the Sun Belt in attendance for 15 years or so.

I went all the way back to 1999 and Louisiana-Lafayette was in the top 20 in attendance only one time. They were ranked #20 in 2003. Otherwise it's a scatter of ranks in the 20's to 40's. That doesn't sound like being a consistent top 20 team in attendance to me.

You're right, I was wrong. 20 just stuck in my head I guess. But not one of those years were we in the 40's. Every single year back to 1999 we were either in the 20's or the 30's.
And I'm still right that we lead the Sun Belt in attendance. You guys at South Alabama are the only others even remotely close, didn't see USA in those rankings but maybe once.
I did notice, however, that GaSouthern was also in the top 30 alot.
